The company incorporated in May 1987. Since 1987, the company has experienced dramatic growth over the recent years with sales all over Australia and New Zealand.

In 1996, we had invested millions of dollars for packaging materials manufacturing included 8 colours flexographic printing press (USA), solventless laminator (Europe), high speed slitter (Europe & Japan) and pouch forming machines (Japan). With the existing converting facilities, the company is able to provide a full range of services covering all packaging needs, especially for small quantity orders. 

In addition to our wide range of in-house manufactured equipment, we also have exclusive access to a range of packaging and processing equipment and materials from overseas.

Joseph Lee & Co., Pty. Ltd. is the only company in Australia that can provide total packaging needs for our clients. From contract packing to supply of packaging materials and packaging machinery as well as food processing machines, our staff will discuss all individual requirements for customer queries.

 Partnership with Maruto Sangyo Ltd. Japan:

Due to the continuous growth and demand of high quality packaging materials, our main Japan material supplier, Maruto Sangyo Ltd. Japan, now has their sales and technical support staff stationed full time in our office. Maruto Sangyo Ltd. has been supplying packaging materials to Australia since 1978. The company is a public listed company in Japan and is one of the largest converters in Southern Japan. The latest factory design in Fukuoka plant is Class 100,000 standard.

All Maruto converting plant have full in-house manufacturing facilities, that include graphic design, cylinder making, up to 9 colours gravure and flexo printing, computer scanning and checking, dry and solventless lamination, extrusion lamination, slitting, shrink sleeve forming and pouch making.  Two of their Japan plants have the following capacity:

Australia Plant :

Manufacture full range of packaging materials - In-house flexographic printing up to 8 colours (capacity of 72,000M/8hrs), laminating all kinds of packaging materials, slitting, rewinding and bag making to 3SS, pillow, standing and 4SS gusset bags.
